Nicole Haff is an Intellectual Property, Entertainment, and Commercial Litigator. In addition to her practice before the trial courts, she has argued, or played a central role in, successful appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the Appellate Division for the State of New York, and New York’s highest court, the Court of Appeals. Prior to joining Lewis & Lin LLC her experience included working at Proskauer Rose, LLP and Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP. She later moved to more senior roles, including Chairing the Litigation Department of a national entertainment boutique.
In addition to litigating, Ms. Haff advises and counsels clients in the areas of trademark and copyright law (including DMCA compliance), as well as entertainment and defamation law.
From 2015-2018, Ms. Haff was named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyer Magazine. In 2020, she graduated from “Rising Star” to “Super Lawyer,” an honor she has continued to receive every year since that time. Martindale-Hubbell has also designated her as “AV Preeminent,” the highest-level peer rating an attorney can obtain.
Nicole has been quoted or interviewed by CNN, Forbes, Fox News Radio, Bloomberg, Time Magazine, the Daily Mail, and The New York Law Journal, as well as other media outlets, concerning intellectual property and entertainment law issues.
